Your Role

The main function of a Product Manager is to oversee the application during all phases of the product cycle, with responsibilities that include product design, scope management, cost control, quality and performance reporting. In this contract-to-hire role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of HR Applications, specifically the applications and integrations that make up the Organizational Development and Learning product (Learning Management System (LMS)).

Your Work

In this role, you will:
  • Product Management
    • Develop, track and manage project budget, project plans, timelines and scope.
    • Partner closely with other Product Managers and Stakeholders define business requirements and product direction.
    • Develop business plans for products and participate in all phases of the product development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, and integration of products as well as the introduction of products to the organization.
    • Lead and participate in agile ceremonies including Quarterly Big Board Planning, Daily Standups, and Conducting sessions with business leadership to develop the product's vision, strategy and roadmap.
  • DevSecOps/SDLC
    • Lead activities to support the delivery of new functionality in our suite of HRIS applications, requirements gathering, solution design, development, user acceptance testing, business validation, success criteria measurement and analysis, ongoing support, and post-deployment assessment for continuous process improvement and evolution of functionality
    • Lead a small team of tech leads and developers, providing technical direction and support. Ensuring that development tasks are completed on time and meet quality standards.
    • Manage complete software development lifecycle (from conception to retirement) for the applications and integrations within the portfolio.
    • Oversee and manage integrations using MuleSoft as the middleware platform. Ensure seamless data flow between HRIS systems and downstream applications.

Qualifications

Your Knowledge and Experience
  • Typically, requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience.
  • Experience with SaaS-based HRIS Platforms such as Oracle Fusion HCM or Workday
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Absorb
  • Experience in product development, value stream/journey mapping and related techniques
  • Preferred demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and teams of teams and technical competencies in: relationship management, product release and deployment, customer and user experience analysis
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to integrations and system performance. Provide technical support and guidance to the team as needed. While hands-on technical and programming knowledge isn't required, a strong understanding of various integration methodologies including SFTP, ETL, SQL, JSON/XML, and SOAP/REST APIs is essential.
  • Preferred experience working on a DevSecOps team with cross-functional initiatives with a high degree of complexity.
  • Proven project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible/ adaptable in exercising judgment in a changing environment and to manage competing priorities.
  • Proven ability to learn business processes quickly and to work well with business partners at different levels within the organization.
  • Strong ability to assess risk and apply management principles to technology applications/products and business functions.
  • Experience delivering technology and business application solutions in a large-scale, multi-platform systems environment.

Office Environment - roles involving part to full time schedule in Office Environment. Based in our physical offices and work from home office/deskwork - Activity level: Sedentary, frequency most of work day.
