Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Data Analyst.

Title: Data Analyst

Job Type: Fulltime/Contract on W2

Duration: 6 months+

Locations: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)

As a Data Analyst, you will-

• Analyze Trade Finance transactions and review transaction data to identify heightened risk activities and red flags.
• Utilize data to evaluate presented risks and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Complete due diligence by analyzing transaction data to set benchmarks for normal customer behavior.
• Perform extensive data manipulation and analysis in Excel and work with large, complex datasets (thousands of rows) to identify risk patterns.
• Develop data-driven strategies and tools and collaborate with technology and business partners to advance review techniques using data and analytical tools.
• Generate insightful risk observations and write detailed reports and dispositions based on data analysis to help business partners understand customer behavior and manage risk.
• Apply financial crimes data expertise and act as a subject matter expert in Anti-money laundering (AML) / Counter Threat Finance (CTF) to guide data-driven investigations.
• Communicate data-driven risk findings and clearly evaluate and present relevant risk information derived from data analysis in a concise and timely manner.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning.
• Good understanding of Financial Crimes risk, including investigation experience within Trade Finance products.
• In-depth knowledge of Trade Finance Products.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including the ability to manage extremely large and complex sets of transactional data, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and charts.
• Commercial banking and credit analysis experience.
• The ability to evaluate risks and recommend commensurate risk mitigation steps.
• Proven capability to serve as an Anti-money laundering (AML) / Counter Threat Finance (CTF) Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CAMS certified and/or AML/Sanctions Credential Program).

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $54.00 - $63.00 per hour *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
