Job Title: Boomi Architect

Mode of Hire: Contrat to Hire (C2H)

Location: St. Louis, MO (Onsite)

Years of experience: 8-12 years

Rate: $75 - $80 per hour on C2H

Job Summary:

The Boomi Architect will lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade integration solutions using the Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform. This role requires strong technical expertise in integration patterns, API management, and cloud-based architecture, along with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable and secure integration designs

Key Responsibilities

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Define end-to-end integration architecture using Dell Boomi, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Select appropriate integration patterns (real-time, batch, event-driven, API-led, etc.) for various business use cases.
  • Develop architecture diagrams, interface specifications, and data flow designs.

Integration Development & Implementation

  • Lead and oversee the development of Boomi processes, connectors, and APIs.
  • Implement error handling, logging, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Ensure optimal usage of Boomi Atom/Molecule/Atom Cloud deployment models.

Governance & Best Practices

  • Define Boomi development standards, reusable components, and naming conventions.
  • Implement integration security best practices, including authentication, encryption, and compliance requirements.
  • Oversee version control, CI/CD pipelines, and environment management for Boomi deployments.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Work closely with business analysts, enterprise architects, and development teams to deliver integration projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to integration developers.
  • Engage with stakeholders to validate architecture and ensure alignment with business goals.

Required Skills & Experience

Technical Skills:

  • Strong expertise in Dell Boomi AtomSphere platform, Boomi Flow, Boomi API Management, and Master Data Hub. o Proficiency in integration protocols (REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, JDBC, OData, MQ, etc.).
  • Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and hybrid cloud integrations. o Solid understanding of data formats (JSON, XML, CSV, EDI, etc.) and data transformation/mapping. o Knowledge of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, TLS/SSL, etc.).
  • Familiarity with enterprise applications (SAP, Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday, Oracle, etc.).

Architecture & Design:

  • Experience creating high-level and low-level integration design documents.
  • Strong understanding of microservices and API-first architecture.

Soft Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and documentation skills.

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

The salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
