Job Title: Application / IT Support Specialist - Onsite
Job Location: Rochester, MI
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide on-site end-user PC, software, and technology support. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting issues for staff and assisting users with technology-related needs. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work directly with end users in a professional, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site end-user support for PCs, peripherals, and software applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technology issues for staff and users.
- Learn and support line-of-business applications.
- Support audio-visual and recording technologies and hybrid meeting systems.
- Assist staff in day-to-day use of applications including Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Visio, and SharePoint.
- Coordinate with IT teams for escalation of incidents or higher-level technical issues.
- Serve as the primary on-site IT resource while operations are ongoing.
- Maintain documentation of incidents, resolutions, and support procedures.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on IT support or helpdesk experience, preferably in an on-premise environment.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with PCs, Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Ability to quickly learn and support business applications.
- Familiarity with audio/visual equipment, broadcast/recording systems, and hybrid meeting technology.
- Excellent communication skills to support both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong customer service orientation.
