Network Engineer
4 days a week onsite: 77449
Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent (required).
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field of study (preferred).
- Certifications:
- CCNA/CCNP or higher certification (preferred).
- Cisco Call Manager / WebEx Cloud knowledge (preferred).
- SIP and Voice routing expertise (preferred).
Work Experience:
- 10+ years of LAN/WAN networking experience, including a deep understanding of network and communication methods.
- 5+ years of Network Firewall Security experience (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
- Experience in:
- Designing/maintaining large WAN/LAN Cisco Networks.
- Managing IP Routing Protocols (EIGRP, BGP).
- Network project management.
- Vendor/Telco Carrier management.
- SD-WAN design and support (Meraki preferred).
- Cloud architecture (Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure preferred).
- TCP/IP protocols, Wi-Fi protocols and products (Aruba, Meraki preferred).
- Large IP scheme design and deployment.
- Knowledge/Expertise:
- OSI Model technology stack.
- DNS and DHCP.
- IP Routing (Layer 3) and switching (Layer 2) in large corporate WAN/LAN architecture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Network Performance & Maintenance:
- Establish and maintain network performance.
- Collaborate with network architects to optimize network configurations and performance.
- Troubleshoot network problems, outages, and technical issues.
- Network Design & Configuration:
- Build and design IP addressing and network configurations.
- Design system configurations, enforce standards, and direct system installations.
- Configure and maintain LAN, WAN, and WLAN network infrastructure (including routers, switches, and SD-WAN).
- Security Implementation:
- Establish and enforce network security policies.
- Define and monitor network access while maintaining Enterprise Security.
- Cloud & Disaster Recovery:
- Maintain and design private and cloud-based network architecture (HA & DR).
- Oversee connectivity for cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
- Collaboration & Strategic Input:
- Provide technical input on network architecture changes and enterprise growth strategies.
- Consult on enterprise-level projects, ensuring alignment with network designs and changes.
- Work with Security and EA teams to manage and assess network design impacts.
- Support & Project Leadership:
- Provide 3rd level support for network-related escalations.
- Lead and manage large-scale network projects, providing regular updates.
- Assist peers in supporting and improving the Wireless Network Infrastructure.
- Professional Development:
- Stay up to date with evolving technologies by engaging in educational opportunities and professional development activities.
- General Duties:
- Proactively accomplish organizational goals and handle related responsibilities.
- Adapt to changing duties as required by management.
