Description:
Full cycle Embedded Software Engineering, including all of the following: software specification, software design, embedded coding and development, software testing, software documentation.
- Design, code, and test embedded systems firmware
- Embedded development / coding in C/C++ language
- Partner with internal Engineering team on a variety of different projects with customers in a wide range of industries

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or a similar field
- 5+ years of Firmware Engineering experience
- Significant Embedded RTOS (real time operating systems) experience. Examples include; FreeRTOS, Azure (previously known as ThreadX), Zephyr, QNX/Neutrino, VxWorks, Integrity (Green Hills), MQX, uC/OS ("Micro-C OS" or Micrium OS), TI-RTOS, SEGGER embOS
- Experience working with communication protocols
- Embedded C or C++ development
- ARM microcontrollers
- Device driver development
PLUS:
- Wireless communication protocols (bluetooth, Wi-Fi, zigbee)
- Experience workings as an Embedded Engineer in a regulated environment (aerospace, medical device, pharma, automotive, government, etc.)
