Job Title: Senior Enterprise Web Architect

Location: Palo Alto, CA (Hybrid preferred)

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Enterprise Web Architect with deep expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and Drupal, and proven experience architecting large-scale, enterprise-grade digital platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong grasp of modern web ecosystems particularly GraphQL, Next.js, Optimizely, and StoryBlok and can guide cross-functional teams in delivering high-performing, scalable, and future-ready digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architect and design enterprise web solutions leveraging AEM and Drupal, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
  • Define and implement content management strategies, including component-based architectures, headless CMS models, and omnichannel content delivery.
  • Lead technical evaluations, proof of concepts, and integrations with technologies such as GraphQL, Next.js, Optimizely, and StoryBlok.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, UX teams, and developers to align technology with business goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across multiple projects.
  • Ensure best practices in performance optimization, CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud deployment (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, data flow diagrams, and integration blueprints.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies for enterprise use.

Required Qualifications

  • 15+ years of professional experience in web and enterprise architecture.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Sites, Assets, and integrations.
  • 5+ years of experience with Drupal (versions 8, 9, or 10).
  • Strong experience with headless CMS approaches and API-first architectures.
  • Deep understanding of GraphQL, Next.js, and JAMStack principles.
  • Exposure to Optimizely and StoryBlok is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience integrating web platforms with CRM, DAM, analytics, and marketing automation systems.
  • Strong background in cloud-native architectures, microservices, and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital transformation programs for enterprise clients.
  • AEM certification or Drupal Acquia certification preferred.
