SAP Security Analyst
Hybrid- currently onsite 3 days a week: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Location: Austin, TX

MUST HAVE:
- 5+ Years with ABAP CODE REVIEW
- 5+ Years User Acceptance Testing
- Proficient in using PFCG and BRM tools
We are seeking a skilled SAP Security Analyst with expertise in role design and authorization, particularly in SAP EWM and a working knowledge of ABAP for technical analysis and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will be proficient with PFCG, Business Role Management (BRM), and security role builds. Experience working with RC functionals, SAP tables for object analysis, and customizing roles through ABAP insights is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the SAP Business Governance team and asset in authorization role clean up and retrofit activities, identification of SU24 and program authorization updates, assist in identifying and correcting role updates in relation to S/4 upgrade.
- Support upgrade cycles, security data validations between ECC & S/4, over all reporting and analytics.
- Navigate large scale SAP upgrades, quickly troubleshoot and resolve issues through multiple testing cycles, and a general ability to liaison between business and IS&T teams.
- Troubleshoot and resolve authorization errors, including user access and workflow-related issues.
- Support GRC-related activities and provide input for role design governance.
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to security process improvement.
Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in SAP Security & Authorizations, with emphasis on role design and user management.
- Proficiency in PFCG, BRM, and EWM security configuration.
- Working knowledge of ABAP for debugging and technical troubleshooting related to authorizations.
- Experience with ECC migrations
- Expereince with S/4 Hana implementations
- Experience with SAP tables and object relationships for role definition and validation.
- Strong collaboration skills, especially with RC functionals and technical teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP certification in Security, EWM, or ABAP.
- Understanding of audit requirements, compliance standards, and segregation of duties (SoD) analysis.
Key responsibilities include the ability to execute traces and analyze SU53 reports to troubleshoot and resolve authorization issues. The candidate should be proficient in using PFCG and BRM tools for creating and updating roles, and have familiarity with GRC BRM processes.
