Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Java Tech Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on development experience to drive the design, development, and deployment of modern enterprise applications.
As a Tech Lead, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor developers, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions leveraging Java, Spring Boot, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing Java-based applications.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product owners to define technical requirements and solutions.
- Provide hands-on coding expertise in Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
- Drive cloud adoption and architecture using AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, etc.).
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, and automated deployment tools.
- Design and develop responsive UI components using Angular or React
- Oversee code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure code quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in software development with a focus on Core Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong expertise in microservices architecture and building RESTful APIs.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and API Gateway.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, GitHub, and DevOps practices.
- Proven experience leading teams and managing technical deliverables in an Agile environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of security best practices in cloud-native applications.
- Previous experience in financial services or banking domain
