Role Summary:

• The Data Modeler will design and implement data models to support the development of curated, reusable, and governed data products.
• This role will focus on creating source and target state models, ensuring data quality, and enabling efficient data consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modeling:
• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for data products.
• Data Analysis:
• Profile and document key metrics of existing data products, including lineage, quality, and reuse potential.
• Collaboration:
• Work with stakeholders to define business rules, KPIs, and consumption requirements.
• Documentation:
• Create data dictionaries, ER diagrams, and metadata documentation.
• Governance:
• Define and implement data governance principles for certified reusable data products.

Required Skills

• Data Modeling Tools:
• Proficiency in tools like ER/Studio, Erwin, or similar.
• Database Expertise:
• Strong knowledge of relational and non-relational databases (Redshift, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB).
• Data Governance:
• Experience with data quality, lineage, and compliance frameworks.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
