POSITION: CMM Programmer (CMM Programming, CMM Machinery Operation) in Lewisburg, TN
LOCATION: Lewisburg, TN
DURATION: Full-Time Position
SALARY: Excellent Compensation with benefits + Overtime

SUMMARY:

  • Act as the principal liaison between the Quality and Manufacturing groups.
  • Audit, enforce and train other associates on all aspects of the quality policy.
  • Should be self-directed and work well with minimal supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

  • Able to run parts using PC-DMIS Software package
  • Able to program CMM using CAD through PC-DMIS
  • PPAP & Data collection & ability to analyze/interpret data
  • Experience using SPC (Statistical Process Control) tools
  • Able to read blueprints
  • Knowledgeable in GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • Conduct destructive testing of the weld (draw cup) for correlation studies as needed
  • Hold non-conforming materials (use inventory management)
  • Sort through non-conforming material as necessary to aid in disposition
  • Perform all capability studies and analyze process variances
  • Interact with internal & external customers all PSO s & PPAP s as needed
  • Run all extra testing required as part of validation process after quarantine
  • Problem solves (work with operations on shift to determine root cause of material on hold and make the appropriate changes to limit the amount of material placed on hold)
  • Perform control plan audits. Work with engineers to update as needed
  • Perform annual dimensional layouts per customer requirements and any additional as requested
  • Perform Process/Product and LPA Audits
  • Issue gages to production as necessary
  • Assist with or answer 8D assignments on customer rejects
  • Update ICP s as needed for various programs as assigned
  • Ability to generate new form/work instructions/checksheets
  • Assist the Quality Manager and Quality Engineer as assigned
  • Ability to write Operator Instruction for new gages

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate degree or higher preferred or a minimum of a High School diploma/GED
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience operating CMM Machinery.
  • Previous metrology experience and CAD desired.
