Role: Security Test Engineer- (Telecom Domain)
Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid)

Key Responsibilities:
- Front-End Web and Mobile Application Testing: Conduct thorough security testing on front-end web and mobile applications to identify vulnerabilities and ensure robust security measures.
- Collaboration with Backend GQL Team: Work closely with the backend GraphQL (GQL) team to integrate security protocols and ensure seamless data flow and protection.
- Wireless Cellular Domain Expertise: Utilize knowledge of wireless cellular domain, specifically eSIM functionalities like SIM swap and device swaps, to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Fraud Detection: Identify undetected weaknesses in processes, policies, business logic, and coding practices that could lead to fraud. Validate fraud scenarios with a focus on end-to-end testing.
- Hacker's Perspective: Think from a hacker's perspective to identify attack vectors and differentiate between customer and fraud journeys, determining abuse cases for various motives.
- Social Engineering Simulation: Leverage social engineering methodologies to simulate techniques for data harvesting and refine testing approaches based on industry breaches.
- Data Monitoring: Use basic tools to monitor the secure flow of data across systems and support fraud and security programs.
- Security Standards Development: Develop and maintain information security standards, procedures, and guidelines. Provide technical guidance and training to information owners and IT associates.
- Implementation of Best Practices: Execute and implement fraud and security best practices, policies, and technologies to secure software and business processes.
- Gap Analysis: Support gap analysis of security against relevant industry and regulatory standards and identify solutions.
- Continuous Evaluation: Consistently evaluate fraud and security needs according to policy, best practice, precedent, and business needs.
- Automation Experience: Experience with writing automated checks against the flows we want to protect. Leveraging BDD for test suites, with experience in Karate (testing tool used by DPOS) or similar tools. Ability to execue automatin suites across the board.
Qualifications:
- Application functional testing, preferably in wireless applications.
- Creating complex test scenarios to detect weaknesses leading to fraud.
- Security testing methodology (OWASP).
- Testing digital web/app applications with a thorough understanding of the wireless telecom domain.
- Solving complex technical problems independently and in a team environment.
- Various web/mobile app architectures.
