Job Details:
Client is seeking a skilled Oracle Analytics Server Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle-based application environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Analytics Server administration and a solid understanding of healthcare technology infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring system performance, reliability, and security for client's patient access solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Oracle Analytics Server environments, including Oracle and related middleware components.
Monitor application server performance, availability, and capacity, implementing tuning strategies as needed.
Perform regular system maintenance, patching, and upgrades to ensure stability and compliance.
Manage deployments of application code, patches, and configuration changes in collaboration with development teams.
Ensure data security and compliance with healthcare industry standards (HIPAA, HITRUST).
Develop and maintain system documentation, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
Provide Tier-3 support for application server issues, troubleshooting performance bottlenecks and system errors.
Collaborate with database administrators, network engineers, and developers to ensure end-to-end system health.
Implement monitoring tools and proactive alerting to reduce downtime and enhance service reliability.
Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours maintenance activities.
Qualifications
Required
:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of experience administering Oracle Analytics Server (Oracle Fusion Middleware).
Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and scripting (Shell, Python, Perl).
Experience with performance tuning, clustering, load balancing, and high availability.
Familiarity with Oracle Database environments and integration points.
Strong understanding of IT security practices and compliance requirements in healthcare.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
Preferred:
Experience with patient access or healthcare IT systems.
Exposure to cloud platforms (Oracle Cloud, AWS, or Azure).
Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Certifications in Oracle WebLogic, Oracle Middleware, or related technologies.
