Description

Position: Data Manager (Part-Time)

Department: NYU School of Global Public Health - Social and Behavioral Sciences

Supervisor: Dr. David Abramson

Number of Positions Available: 1

SBS faculty member looking for a part-time data manager to work on multiple grant-funded projects.

  • Design and implement research surveys, ensuring alignment with study objectives
  • Program and maintain REDCap databases for data collection and management
  • Develop and update project reports and status updates for internal and external stakeholders
  • Coordinate field operations in collaboration with a subcontracted research organization
  • Build and maintain a clean, well-documented analytic dataset for ongoing and future analyses
  • Collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) and research team to support data analysis and interpretation efforts

Qualifications

  • Expertise in REDCap, Stata, and Excel
  • Strong skills in creating compelling data visualizations
  • Significant experience with primary data collection for social and behavioral science research
  • Highly proficient writing and communication skills
  • Master of Public Health (MPH) degree preferred
