Job Title: Oracle ERP Readiness Project Manager (with cloud exp)
Location: Remote (West Coast preferred)
Duration: 6-12 months Contract
Must be on W2
Role Overview
We are seeking a senior, Oracle Cloud ERP hands-on Project Manager to support a client that is approximately 4 months from ERP go-live. This role is not responsible for ERP configuration or functional delivery—those activities are being led by the client. Instead, this role will focus on organizational readiness and the broader ERP ecosystem, ensuring all dependent systems, processes, and stakeholders are prepared for go-live.
This is a critical role designed to supplement the existing program team and drive coordination, execution, and risk mitigation across all non-ERP components.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate ERP readiness activities outside the core ERP system, including:
- Boundary and dependent applications
- Integrations, data flows, and downstream/upstream systems
- Printers, reporting, interfaces, and operational tooling
- Own and manage cross-functional readiness plans, timelines, and dependencies
- Partner closely with Deloitte, internal IT, business stakeholders, and vendors to:
- Identify risks, gaps, and readiness issues
- Drive mitigation plans and ensure accountability
- Coordinate UAT support readiness, cutover planning inputs, and go-live checklists
- Ensure operational teams are prepared with:
- Processes, access, training readiness, and support models
- Drive executive-level communication, status reporting, and issue escalation
- Act as a strong execution leader during the final pre-go-live phase
Required Experience
- 15+ years of project/program management experience
- Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP implementations, particularly in:
- Go-live readiness
- Cutover planning
- Ecosystem and boundary application coordination
- Strong understanding of enterprise application ecosystems, including:
- Integrations, printers, reporting tools, third-party applications, and infrastructure dependencies
- Experience working alongside large SI partners (e.g., Deloitte) in complex ERP programs
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Ability to operate independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, distribution, or complex operational environments
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- West Coast availability for time-zone alignment and stakeholder collaboration
Work Model
- Remote role, with preference for candidates located on the West Coast
- Occasional travel may be required
