Description & Requirements

Smarter, Faster, and as always - First. That's our philosophy. Bloomberg Media empowers global business leaders with breaking news, expert opinion and proprietary data distributed on every platform, across every time zone. Like our products and solutions- our teams are agile, dynamic, and innovative. We work hard, and we work fast - while keeping up the quality and accuracy for which we're known. It's what keeps us inventing and reinventing, all the time. Our culture is wide open, just like our spaces. We challenge each other. And through our countless volunteer projects, we help bring out the best in our communities as around us, too. You can do outstanding work here. Work you couldn't do anywhere else. It's up to you to make it happen.

Bloomberg Media is looking for an expert Product Manager to join our Subscription Activation team to deliver innovative, data-driven experiences that help subscribers seamlessly discover the full value of our content, tools, and features- ultimately driving deeper engagement and long-term retention.

We will trust you to:
  • Take ownership of the product strategy, roadmap, and execution in close partnership with engineering and design - identifying high-impact opportunities, prioritizing features that drive measurable value for both our subscribers and the business
  • Build a compelling roadmap that reflects a solid understanding of business goals and a deep knowledge of our users - supported by market research, user research, A/B experimentation, and behavioral and engagement data
  • A passion for crafting experiences that reinforce subscriber value and drive engagement, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to bring ideas to life.
  • Leverage data to identify friction points and opportunities in the user journey, design and test interventions to drive business outcomes, and track key metrics to assess impact
  • Develop experimentation frameworks and run A/B and multivariate tests to optimize subscriber experience
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills; ability to clearly, consistently and broadly communicate about product vision, status, goals and impact to leadership and across the organization

You'll need to have:
  • 5+ years of product management experience in B2C digital products, ideally with a focus on subscriptions, onboarding, value discovery and habit formation or lifecycle engagement
  • Strong data proficiency - you're comfortable working with data, asking the right questions, setting clear goals, and analyzing results to understand what's working; experience with SQL and data visualization tools is preferred
  • Experience working with data engineering, machine learning, or data science is a plus
  • Proven track record bringing teams together and moving work forward, even without direct management authority
  • Proficiency with experimentation tools and testing methodologies
  • Solid understanding of design principles, usability, and UX design
  • A passion for crafting early user experiences - from conducting research to deeply understanding subscriber needs, to working closely with designers and engineers
  • Strong leadership and communication skills - able to clearly and consistently communicate the vision, progress, and impact of activation initiatives across product, engineering, marketing, editorial and leadership
