Description

SAIC is seeking a Supply Technician for our customer site in North Charleston, SC.

The Supply Technician will:
  • Receive material into warehouse, completing receiving documentation in database, and notifying projects that their items are in. Receiving includes off-loading by hand from delivery trucks, and also unloading via pallet jack or motorized forklift, as needed.
  • Coordinate and expedite flow of material, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules or department supervisors' priorities.
  • Compile report of quantity and type of material on hand, move or transport material from one department to another, using hand or industrial truck. Another segment of this position is the maintaining of the TVI Program Master Material List in SharePoint.
  • This position also requires a knowledge of shipping outgoing material and obtaining quotes and prices for such.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Five (5) years of experience, to include: supervisory or warehouse lead at a DoD facility; financial management; logistics support for projects involving electronic/ electrical repair and installation, ordering, acquisition, distribution of material, equipment and resources.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to handle physical workload.
