Description
We are seeking an up-and-coming IT professional with 2-5 years' experience in IT support and administration looking to broaden their experience. Responsibilities of the position include working with the IT team to provide general IT support to Ricoh's growing employee base, taking a leading role in IT projects from conception, through implementation, and training, as well as other IT related initiatives as assigned.
Duties and responsibilities
Front-line team member for employee IT support requests
Manages IT support request ticket queue
Supports our multi-tenant VoIP phone systems
Ensures timely completion, follow-up, and documentation of all support requests
Work with or escalate issues to other IT team members as appropriate for resolution
Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software problems
Helping employees best use technology at their disposal either by following company best practice or proposing new processes
New employee onboarding including setup and employee IT orientation
Support hardware peripherals such as printers, copiers, scanners by resolving issues or escalating to vendors when appropriate
Maintains conference room AV equipment
Procure computer equipment as directed
Recognizes areas for improvement by defining and/or developing business processes/procedures by researching and identifying enabling systems/technologies
Develops and maintains IT systems documentation and procedures
May require occasional work outside of normal business hours
Qualifications
Minimum of TWO years IT support experience in a Windows environment with a two-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent education and experience
Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365, Microsoft Teams
Experience with LAN/WAN technologies, Routing, Switching, VMWare ESXi and vCenter, Pure and HPE Nimble SAN Storage, and Sophos Firewalls
Experience with Sophos Firewalls and Endpoint Security (Vendor supported)
Experience with Cisco Meraki wireless network deployments (Vendor supported)
Broad understanding of information systems technology
Strong Microsoft Office (cloud and software) skills including Visio
Ability to multitask and manage time with limited supervision is a must
Additional requisites include strong organizational and interpersonal skills, a process-oriented mindset, strong problem solving and analytical skills, team oriented with strong ability to work independently, results-oriented attitude with ability to prioritize, and a talent for interacting with people at all levels
Communicates in a professional manner, follows up on requests, and takes initiative to go the extra mile
Strong helpdesk and remote support experience
Working conditions
Be able to work outside regular business hours for emergency situations or IT projects requiring downtime and/or maintenance windows.
This is an on-site position at our headquarters in Simi Valley, CA. Hours are M-F from 8am to 5pm PST.
Physical requirements
Occasionally move and install equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, without assistance, for various business and departmental needs
Constantly positions self to maintain computers and servers at desks across the office as well as our corporate data centers

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
