Warehouse Management System (WMOS) Functional Support Lead

Location: Olive Branch, MS, Dallas, San Francisco, Phoenix

Hybrid, 6 months Contract

Overview:
The company is transitioning from PKMS to Manhattan WMOS v2020 in its Olive Branch distribution centre (DC). We are seeking a Warehouse Management System Functional Support Lead to oversee inbound and inventory management-related functional requirements. This role will be pivotal in ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead business and operational discovery efforts, including site visits and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Develop and document "to-be" process flows for WMS and WES solutions.
  • Define system ownership and boundaries across WMS and WES solutions.
  • Collaborate with vendors to review and refine functional requirement documentation.
  • Drive ROI discussions to assess and prioritize customizations and functional deliveries.
  • Write detailed functional JIRA stories for WMOS inbound and inventory management functionalities.
  • Lead JIRA story grooming sessions with delivery and QA teams.
  • Support validation of the WMS Configuration Matrix and define operational elements.
  • Define user roles and access permissions within the WMS application.
  • Collaborate with development teams to design and implement MODs tailored to operational needs.
  • Oversee MOD functionality testing and validation.
  • Serve as the liaison between operations, product teams, and vendors to ensure alignment.
  • Attend weekly status updates and support process flows.

Qualifications:

  • Strong experience in WMS implementations, particularly Manhattan WMOS v2020.
  • Proven ability to lead functional requirement gathering and design workshops.
  • Hands-on experience with JIRA story development, grooming, and QA collaboration.
  • Ability to work with configuration matrices and define operational parameters.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.
