Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to install, maintain, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings. The ideal candidate is experienced with troubleshooting HVAC issues, working independently or as part of a team, and delivering top-quality service to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Install new heating, cooling, and ventilation systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes
Inspect and test HVAC systems and components to ensure proper functioning
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs
Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems (e.g., filter changes, coil cleaning, refrigerant checks)
Respond to emergency service requests in a timely and professional manner
Maintain accurate records of work performed, parts used, and hours worked
Ensure all work complies with company policies, safety standards, and local building codes
Communicate clearly and courteously with customers, explaining repairs and providing recommendations
Stay up to date on the latest HVAC technologies and best practices
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required
HVAC certification (EPA 608 Certification required; NATE Certification preferred)
2+ years of experience in HVAC installation, maintenance, or repair
Valid driver s license with a clean driving record
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various environments (hot, cold, confined spaces, rooftops)
Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-service oriented
