Role: Warkday Integration Consultant

Location: Remote

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Workday Integration Consultant with extensive experience in designing, developing, and managing bidirectional integrations between Workday and external systems, including Oracle Cloud, Vendly, and ADP. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert in Workday integration tools, APIs, and best practices, with a proven track record of delivering scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions to support HR, finance, and vendor management processes. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder collaboration, and the ability to drive complex integration projects in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development:
Design, develop, and implement bidirectional integrations between Workday and Oracle Cloud (EPM, HCM, or Financials), Vendly (vendor management), and ADP (payroll/HR).
Utilize Workday integration tools such as Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and REST/SOAP APIs.
Ensure integrations meet functional, technical, and security requirements while adhering to data integrity and compliance standards.
Requirements Gathering & Collaboration:
Partner with business stakeholders, HR, finance, and IT teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Collaborate with Oracle Cloud, Vendly, and ADP system administrators to align on data mappings, field transformations, and synchronization schedules.
Testing & Validation:
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans for integrations, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Maintenance & Optimization:
Monitor and maintain existing integrations, proactively identifying opportunities for performance improvements and scalability.
Implement error-handling mechanisms and logging for robust integration monitoring.
Stay updated on Workday, Oracle Cloud, Vendly, and ADP platform updates to ensure compatibility and leverage new features.

Technical Skills:
Expertise in Workday integration tools: Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Cloud Connect, and Workday Web Services API.
Strong knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, SOAP, and REST for data transformation and API-based integrations.
Familiarity with Oracle Cloud integration frameworks (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, SOA, or REST APIs).
Experience with Vendly APIs and ADP Workforce Now/ADP Enterprise HR integration methods (e.g., ADP API, file-based transfers).
Proficiency in middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, or SnapLogic) is a plus.
