Job Details
A leading manufacturer in the water treatment systems industry-backed by one of the world's largest privately held conglomerates-is looking for a hands-on Automation Engineer with deep experience in robotics and injection molding environments. This role is pivotal to the continued automation expansion across multiple product lines.
You'll take ownership of automation cells across the plant floor, provide technical leadership on robotic systems, and support production through preventative maintenance, emergency repair, system upgrades, and integration. Candidates must be fluent in PLC programming and robotic systems including FANUC, Mitsubishi MELFA, and Keyence vision systems.
This isn't just a maintenance role-it's engineering ownership. You'll contribute to project scoping, vendor coordination, installation oversight, and equipment commissioning. You'll also develop documentation and training resources for ongoing support, and mentor maintenance technicians.
This role requires a working understanding of lean manufacturing, automation design, and the dynamics of continuous improvement in a high-output manufacturing setting. Typical candidates have a degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training plus 7-8 years in automation and programming, ideally with a background in injection molding.
