About the Internship:
U-Haul is seeking a Database Administrator Intern for Microsoft SQL Server to join the Database Platform Operations team. The ideal candidate will have an outgoing personality, be self-motivated, have strong interpersonal skills, and a positive attitude. The position is hybrid, remote work but requires in-office meetings at U-Haul Midtown Campus in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity
- Monitor system alerts
- Assist and support Microsoft Windows Servers
- Work with Microsoft SQL Server
- Participate in technical reviews throughout the course of development projects
- Define, document and adhere to technical and operational standards
- Maintain detailed technical documentation
Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Must be a recent graduate or currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program applicable toation Technology, CIS, or Computer Science Inform
- DBMS related college courses preferred
- Basic understanding of personal computer hardware and software programs
- Candidates must be able to learn new things quickly, need minimal direction, and work in a remote environment
