Job Title: OneTrust Privacy Platform Engineer
Location: Remote (PST Hours)

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Privacy Engineer with strong expertise in OneTrust platform and privacy compliance solutions. The candidate will design and implement privacy workflows, data mapping, and consent solutions across multiple platforms while integrating APIs for automation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing cookie consent solutions, ensuring compliance with global privacy regulations, and integrating OneTrust with AEM and Adobe Analytics for seamless user experience and data governance.

<>Key Responsibilities</>
  • Design, implement, and automate DSAR/DNSS workflows using OneTrust and Clarip.
  • Design, configure, and deploy cookie consent banners and Pref Center using OneTrust.
  • Scan and Categorize cookies
  • Develop and maintain privacy solutions for GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA compliance.
  • Implement geo-targeted consent experiences based on regional privacy laws (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, LGPD).
  • Ensure proper categorization and scanning of cookies and trackers.
  • Integrate OneTrust cookie consent with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) components and templates.
  • Customize AEM components to respect user consent preferences.
  • Collaborate with AEM developers to ensure seamless user experience and compliance.
  • Configure Adobe Analytics to respect user consent signals.
  • Implement tag management strategies using Adobe Launch or other tag managers.
  • Integrate internal and external APIs to automate data privacy processes.
  • Lead migration projects between privacy platforms such as OneTrust and Clarip.
  • Manage user roles, access, and system configurations in OneTrust.
  • Build advanced dashboards and reporting systems in OneTrust for legal & compliance teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams like legal, IT, and data governance.
  • Provide technical guidance, documentation, and hands-on training to internal users.
  • Support Self Account Deletion and closure processes for app stores and web portals.
  • Troubleshoot API integrations and workflow issues using Postman & logs.
Required Skills
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with OneTrust platform (Privacy Rights Automation, Data Mapping, Cookie Consent).
  • Strong knowledge of privacy laws: GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA.
  • Proficiency with API development, testing & integration (REST, SOAP).
  • Experience with workflow design, automation, and platform migration.
  • Familiarity with Clarip privacy platform (nice to have).
  • Certifications in OneTrust (Privacy Rights Automation, Data Mapping , Consent & Preference Management, Cookie Consent) highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Analytics and Adobe AEM (or similar tag management tools).
  • Setup geolocation rule and OneTrust consent models (e.g. Notice only, Optout,Opt-in). Up to two recent experiences.
  • Knowledge of Privacy laws like GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA
  • Expert & certified in building privacy solution using OneTrust modules like Privacy Rights Automation, Data Mapping, Preference Management, Cookie Consent Experience etc.
  • Expert knowledge in API integrations, API testing, API configurations
  • Expert knowledge in creating and configuring OneTrust workflows for various modules
  • Expert knowledge in OneTrust user management and configuration
  • Knowledge in Single SignOn configurations for OneTrust
  • Knowledge in troubleshooting through logs and root cause analysis
  • Expert knowledge in OneTrust Exports, Imports, Reporting and Dashboarding

Preferred Qualifications:

  • OneTrust certification(s).
  • Experience with other CMPs ( Consent Management Platforms).
  • Knowledge of server-side tagging and data layer design.
