Financial Expertise:
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
5?7+ years of experience in finance, with specific expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and change control for large transformation programs.
Finance Governance & Controls: Proven experience establishing finance governance and internal controls across multiple workstreams.
ERP & Multi-Vendor Portfolio Familiarity: Experience working with ERP-led transformations and managing multi-vendor portfolios.
Month-End Close & Audit: Experience with month-end close processes and maintaining audit-ready documentation

Summary:

Summary: The Program Financial Controller serves as the financial backbone for a multi-year portfolio of Transformational Programs. Reporting to the Program Governance & Finance Lead and embedded within the Finance Arm, this role establishes and maintains robust financial governance across all workstreams. The Controller consolidates budgets and forecasts, ensures audit-ready records, and delivers actionable insights to guide funding, baseline, and change control decisions. This position is critical to disciplined financial management, enabling timely, evidence-based decisions that keep the portfolio on scope, on schedule, and on budget.

Key Responsibilities
? Establish Program Finance Governance: Develop and enforce internal controls and financial governance across all program workstreams.
? Portfolio Budgeting & Forecasting: Build and maintain the integrated portfolio budget and rolling forecast, highlighting key drivers, risks, and opportunities.
? Baseline & Change Control: Set and manage the financial baseline; oversee funding decisions and change requests to ensure alignment with program objectives.
? Month-End Close & Audit: Lead month-end financial activities and maintain an audit-ready documentation trail.
? Leadership Reporting: Produce portfolio reporting for leadership forums, including budget vs. actuals, run-rate, contingency, and benefits progress.
? Scenario & Sensitivity Analysis: Perform scenario and sensitivity analyses to inform scope, timing, and sourcing trade-offs.
? Vendor & Contract Financials: Oversee vendor and contract financials in partnership with Procurement, ensuring alignment with commercial terms.
? Corporate Alignment: Align with Corporate Finance and Controllership on accounting treatment, capitalization, and reporting standards.
? Team Leadership: Guide and develop a small team of analysts, setting and upholding quality standards.
