Job Details
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to support the operations and maintenance of wind turbines, with a focus on electrical systems including:
- Low- and medium-voltage equipment (up to 690VAC / 230VDC)
- Pitch systems
- Motors and drives
- Power electronics
The ideal candidate will apply a broad understanding of engineering principles to solve complex technical challenges. This role requires the use of advanced techniques and may involve adapting existing theories and practices to new applications. Work is conducted independently with room for innovation and technical judgment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and troubleshoot electrical systems within wind turbines
- Plan and execute engineering tasks with minimal supervision
- Adapt and improve standard engineering methods to meet project-specific needs
- Develop innovative solutions to support operational reliability and performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including field technicians and engineering support staff
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 2 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- 0 2 years of supervisory experience (preferred, not required)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
