Gejits Infotech Inc is seeking a Senior Solution Architect with extensive experience in Medicaid technology, MMIS, and Health & Human Services (HHS) programs. This is not a development role the ideal candidate will provide architectural leadership, manage cross-functional teams, oversee vendor delivery, and guide technology transitions from legacy to modernized solutions.
You will work closely with agency stakeholders, enterprise architects, and vendors to ensure all technical solutions align with the broader business and IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide architectural oversight and leadership for Medicaid-related systems and solutions.
Serve as the agency s representative in vendor solution design and delivery.
Lead and facilitate the transition from legacy systems to modern platforms, including cutover and sunset planning.
Evaluate vendor solutions to ensure compliance with business architecture, technical standards, and enterprise goals.
Participate in and contribute to:
Architecture Review Boards (ARB)
Technical Standards Committees
Design and integration reviews
Collaborate with vendors and release managers during system deployment phases.
Analyze technology proposals, assess risks, and make recommendations for improvements.
Troubleshoot performance issues and oversee problem resolution with service providers.
Maintain awareness of emerging technologies and their impact on the Medicaid/HHS landscape.
Assist with technical documentation reviews, vendor contract estimates, and solution planning.
Drive integration and interoperability efforts between business and technical services.
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in Solution Architecture with a strong background in system design, implementation, and operations.
5+ years of leadership experience managing large, cross-functional teams and complex IT projects.
5+ years of senior-level experience in Health & Human Services (HHS) Medicaid domain expertise is required.
Deep understanding of the Medicaid modules/domains such as:
Recipient
Provider
Eligibility
5+ years of experience working with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
Strong vendor management and outsourced service coordination skills.
Proven ability to:
Gain trust from stakeholders and teams
Navigate ambiguity and incomplete information
Resolve conflicts and deliver results under pressure
Communicate difficult messages tactfully
