Role: Data Analytics Engineer
Locations: New York, NY (Hybrid Onsite)
Duration: 12+ Months Contract
F2F Interview Highly Preferred for Local Candidates.
Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3-4 Days every week. Local or candidates from adjacent states only.
About the Role:
- We are seeking a versatile and results-driven Data Analytics Engineer to join our team supporting client.
- This hybrid role blends the technical depth of data engineering with the strategic insight of business analytics responsible for understanding the business functions & developing scalable data solutions, analytics and delivering actionable insights to business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define key metrics, KPIs and data requirements.
- Design, build and maintain efficient data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting.
- Translate complex datasets into clear, business-oriented insights and recommendations.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and visualizations.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency and governance across platforms.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses to uncover trends, risks and opportunities.
- Partner with data scientists, product managers and business teams to support strategic initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Statistics or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering and analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in SQL & Analytics tools.
- Proven experience in financial services and wealth management domains, with expertise in Stock plans, Financial data, Crypto and related business processes.
- Hands-on experience with data warehousing solutions such as Snowflake.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, architecture and governance principles.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills (Good to have):
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Familiarity with Analytics tools such as Dataiku, etc.
- Prior experience working with Morgan Stanley’s Wealth Management team.
