Hi Professionals,

State of Wisconsin, has released a new requirement Application Architect, must be local to WI, no relocation allowed for this requirement .

The manager requested a 1 bid limit to ensure only the top candidate is submitted from each vendor. This is a true new need for 1 total position.

The State of Wisconsin is looking for an Application Architect III.

Duration of the Contract: 6/30/2026 with potential for extension

Onsite or Remote: Candidates must be CURRENT WI residents. No relocation is allowed. DWD is currently allowing remote work from within the state of Wisconsin. The contractor must be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7.45 am 4.30 pm Central Time. DWD can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice.

NOTE: DWD prefers that the selected hire resides in the greater Madison area. The contractor must be available to work onsite in DWD Madison WI headquarters GEF-1 location at DWD's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses.

Project details: This need is part of the new modernization project at DWD. This is a technical leadership position needed to drive the development and support of the Unemployment Division modernization projects.
