Job Details

Job Title: .NET Developer
Location: Chicago, IL
Work Mode: Hybrid (2 day in-office per week)
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) with a strong emphasis on secure coding practices.
  • Identify, analyze, and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications (e.g., SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, authentication flaws).
  • Implement security controls, encryption, and identity management mechanisms to protect sensitive data.
  • Perform application security assessments, code reviews, and integrate tools for static/dynamic analysis (SAST, DAST).
  • Monitor applications for potential security risks, respond to incidents, and support penetration testing efforts.
  • Stay ahead of emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in secure software development.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with .NET development (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
  • Proven expertise in identifying and remediating security vulnerabilities in applications.
  • Strong knowledge of authentication, authorization, and secure session management (OAuth, SAML, JWT, etc.).
  • Experience working with application security tools (e.g., Veracode, Fortify, SonarQube, Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP).
  • Familiarity with cloud security (AWS preferred) and secure API/microservices design.
