Schedule:

- 1st Shift - Monday through Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM \n

Summary:
\nUnder the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician repairs and maintains production equipment and buildings to company standard.
\n\n
Job Duties:
The list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities, as management may deem necessary from time to time.

- PC to PLC program maintenance, troubleshooting, and control devices \n
- Effectively use hand tools and electric or pneumatic power tools \n
- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on equipment \n
- Read electrical schematics \n
- Diagnose cause of electrical and mechanical failure of operational equipment \n
- Set up new equipment lines and equipment changeovers \n
- Train production and other maintenance personnel \n
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and complete projects on due dates \n
- Work on electrical systems up to 480 VAC \n
- Strong knowledge in motor control circuits, automated valves and process controls \n
- Ensure that all processes are followed \n
- Complete daily work order log \n
- Complete PM s as assigned \n
- Follow parts check out procedure \n
- Follow all GMP standards \n
- All other duties as assigned \n
Qualifications:
\n- \n
- Associate Degree in Electrical Maintenance preferred or High School Diploma plus at least three years of related experience \n
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills \n
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis \n
- Experience with a Windows-based computer system (Microsoft Office programs and Maintenance Work Order software) \n
- Ability to read and comprehend documents such as blueprints, schematics, work orders, etc. \n
- Ability to write standard documentation and effectively present information to other employees \n
- This position may require forklift certification \n
