A Day in the Life of an Industrial Engineering Intern:
We are looking for inquisitive and driven individuals with a passion to innovate. Bring your experience and ideas and help us build a world-class global operations team while keeping safety a top priority for the company. As an Industrial Engineer at Bell, you can expect to play a key role in enabling Manufacturing to produce Quality Products, Safely, on time and under budget. This position will ensure that we identify, and implement, the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Measures) needed to meet these objectives.

A Day in the Life of an Industrial Engineering Intern:

As an Industrial Engineer at Bell, you can expect to play a key role in enabling Manufacturing to produce Quality Products, Safely, on time and under budget. This position will ensure that we identify, and implement, the required resources (Man, Machine, Material, Measures) needed to meet these objectives.
Working on projects in the following areas-
- Capacity and 4M Analysis (Man, Machine/Tool, Material, and Measure)
- Standards, Span, Order Policy, Work Structure, & Routing Maintenance including Time Studies.
- Workflow Optimization & Cost Out (5S, Lean, Kanban, Spaghetti Diagrams)
- Facility and Equipment Capital planning and layouts
- Metric / Performance / Labor Analysis & Data Analytics
- Visual Factory (Crew Loads / Pacer Charts)
- Business Case development
- Project Management
- Safety / Ergonomics
What You Will Need :
- Actively pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher with a major in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Engineering Technology or Industrial & Systems Engineering required.
- Minimum 60 credit hours completed by the start of the internship (June 1, 2026) or prior Bell internship experience.
- Able to complete the entire 10 weeks of the internship: June 1 - August 7, 2026.
Preference will be given to candidates that are rising Sophomore or Junior classification during the 2026 internship.
What Will Make You Stand Out:
- Strong computer skills, especially with: Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Power BI or SQL scripting, and AutoCAD.
- A desire to work in a fast-paced work environment that offers new challenges daily.
- Previous internship experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Hands on work with SAP software.
- An energetic and results driven attitude.
- A strong desire to work in an organization that operates within the aerospace and manufacturing industries.
