Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical equipment within a manufacturing facility. You will perform breakdown, preventative, or predictive maintenance on equipment across the manufacturing floor while adhering to cGMP and OSHA requirements at all times. Additionally, you will utilize CMMS programs to record maintenance work and OEE programs to communicate equipment findings across the team and production.

Pay and Shift:

  • $28 -32/hr - based on skills/experience
  • 2:15 - 12:45 , Monday - Thursday

Responsibilities

  • Perform breakdown, preventative, or predictive maintenance on equipment.
  • Utilize CMMS and OEE programs for maintenance work and communication.
  • Assist Junior Mechanics with equipment set-ups and change-overs.
  • Assemble, inspect, install, and test new production equipment.
  • Use various power and hand tools for job functions.
  • Write parts requests to maintain inventory of critical spare parts.
  • Read and comprehend equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.

Essential Skills

  • Troubleshooting skills in mechanical equipment.
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
  • Experience in preventive maintenance and PLC troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of safety, cGMP, and SOP requirements.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

This is a Contract position based out of Largo, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $32.00/hr.
