Job Description
W&W Dairy Inc. located in Monroe, WI is hiring a Quality Control Technician. W&W Dairy is a demanding, fast paced cheese processing facility.
\n$1,000 bonus after 90 days!
\nRole and Responsibilities
\nThe QA Technician plays a key role in ensuring the safety, consistency, and quality of all products manufactured at W&W Dairy. This position is responsible for conducting routine inspections, sampling, and environmental testing on the production floor, as well as supporting compliance with internal policies and food safety regulations.

- Perform line and floor inspections to verify compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), food safety protocols, and company standards. \n
- Conduct in-process and finished product inspections for quality attributes such as weight, packaging, labeling, texture, and appearance. \n
- Collect and document product samples for laboratory analysis, retention, and customer requirements. \n
- Perform environmental testing (e.g., ATP swabbing, air and surface sampling) to monitor cleanliness and sanitation effectiveness. \n
- Accurately complete QA documentation, checklists, and inspection reports. \n
- Assist in investigating non-conformances and participating in root cause analysis and corrective actions. \n
- Support SQF and HACCP programs by ensuring all processes and documentation meet regulatory and certification standards. \n
- Communicate quality concerns or deviations to supervisors and production teams promptly. \n
- Help facilitate internal audits, pre-operational checks, and verification activities. \n
Required:

- High school diploma or equivalent. \n
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures precisely. \n
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and communicate effectively with team members. \n
- \n
Preferred:
\n- \n
- 1+ year of experience in food manufacturing, quality assurance, or a related field. \n
- Familiarity with GMPs, SQF, and HACCP systems. \n
- Experience using quality testing tools and environmental monitoring methods. \n
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and the ability to work safely with power tools from 24 to 480 amps. \n
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. \n
- Good communication skills; able to report issues and updates clearly. \n
- Ability to read, write and speak English and/or bi-lingual preferred. \n
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain. \n
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call as needed. \n
- Able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical work (standing, kneeling, climbing) for extended periods. \n
- Experience with food-grade equipment and food safety standards. \n
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and refrigeration. \n
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications. \n
- Positive attitude, team-oriented, and reliable. \n
- Experience with Vemag systems. \n
- Experience with sealers. \n
