Positon available in New York, NY and Boston, MA

Job Summary:

You will be an integral part of a growing Product Consulting practice at 55ip that will develop and implement process improvements and best practices to aid product development and delivery for 55ip's growing list of enterprise clients.

Primary responsibilities will include understanding the technology, integrations, data requirements for enterprise implementations and leverage business as well as technical knowledge of 55ip as a platform to drive solutions towards timely delivery. Responsibilities below are primary but not limited to:

In addition to core responsibilities, the role also requires strong leadership, client management and project management skills to ensure the effective execution and alignment of projects with client and organizational goals. The role provides an opportunity to combine business knowledge with technical experience and skills to ideate, build and deliver solutions to complex requirements.

Required qualifications, skills and attributes:
  • Foundational understanding of financial instrument with exposure to end client's workflows in portfolio management and trading is required
  • Experience with third party integrations (custodial data , market data , EMS / OMS integration etc.) is required
  • Over 5 years of experience in Buy-side Technology / Financial Services/ FinTech / SaaS is required with
    • Over 5 years of experience as an Implementation Manager/ Project Manager on medium-large scale implementations is preferred
    • Over 5 years of Consulting/Client facing roles preferred
    • Over 2 years of experience Wealth Tech/Advisor platforms required
  • Experience with aligning technology solutions with desired business outcomes
  • Leverage knowledge and experience of enterprise architecture in designing scalable, reliable and secure architecture solutions
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture & experience in designing and implementing API for seamless integration
  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and design patterns
  • Experience in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C#) with an understanding of software engineering best practices
  • Familiarity with database design and management

Preferred qualifcations, skills and attributes:
  • Product Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, computer science, engineering or related field is typically required.
  • Advanced degrees such as Masters / PhD or certifications such as CFA/FRM/PMP preferred
