Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Content Author to support the Ford/Lincoln ecosystem.

  • Please note: This is a technical content management and publishing role, focused on the operational execution within AEM, and is _not_ a creative writing, content strategy, or content development position.
  • This critical role is responsible for the
  • technical authoring, structuring, and publishing of digital content within the AEM platform, ensuring accuracy and consistency across various digital properties.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Job Functions:

AEM Content Authoring & Publishing:

  • Technically author, structure, create, edit, and publish digital content within the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) platform, including web pages, landing pages, digital assets (images, videos, documents), and multimedia content.
  • Utilize AEM's robust component library, templating system, and other features to ensure accurate and efficient deployment of pre-approved content across various digital platforms.

Content Governance & Quality Assurance:

  • Operate strictly within established content strategies, brand guidelines, and technical specifications, focusing on the operational execution and technical delivery of content within the AEM environment.
  • Perform thorough quality control checks on all authored content, verifying accuracy, consistency, functionality, and adherence to accessibility standards prior to and following publication

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with various stakeholders (e.g., marketing, UX, development, legal) to understand content requirements, ensure alignment with overall digital strategies, and facilitate smooth content workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing timely updates on content development progress and proactively addressing any concerns or challenges.

AEM Platform Support & Optimization:

  • Support content migration activities and large-scale website development projects by contributing AEM-specific expertise.
  • Provide training and ongoing author support to internal teams and client administrators on AEM best practices, content management workflows, and new feature adoption.

Other Responsibilities:

Working within other proprietary authoring systems to support Ford/Lincoln.

Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements:

  • Associates or BA/BS degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience
  • Content Authoring Experience
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Automotive or OEM experience is preferred
  • AEM experience a plus
