Job Details

Title: AI/ML Engineer
Duration: 8 Months - Long Term
Location: Washington, DC 20433 Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days onsite per week from Day1. Role Summary:

The ideal candidate should have a strong system architecture background in the data science domain, solid Python programming skills, and hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI and cognitive service integrations. Experience with Agentic AI frameworks and Microsoft Copilot integrations is highly preferred.

Summary
Seeking an AI/ML Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Azure Cloud, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, and Python development to build secure, scalable, and intelligent solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Atleast 5+ years of IT experience needed.
  • Develop and deploy AI/ML models and solutions using Azure services (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, ML Studio, Functions).
  • Expertise in Azure technologies: Azure AD, Azure Search, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse.
  • Build cloud-native applications and APIs using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.
  • Implement secure design principles including authentication, authorization, and data protection in AI workloads.
  • Optimize model performance and ensure scalability, reliability, and security within Azure environments.
  • Must have real-world experience in prompt engineering, fine-tuning GPT models, and building RAG-based solutions.
  • Practical knowledge of the ML lifecycle (training, deployment, monitoring).
  • Experience with Google Vertex AI or other enterprise AI platforms is plus to have.
