Position: AI Engineer

Location: Remote(PST hours)

Hiring Mode: 6 Months Contract

Job Description:

Own the Network AI Plaftorm s retrieval stack and APIs: source connectors, chunking/embedding, hybrid search, answer composition, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain/tune RAG pipelines.
  • Own Python REST services powering query, routing, and alarm-correlation flows.
  • Build/maintain connectors to ServiceNow, Splunk, SharePoint, internal wikis.
  • Implement evaluation suites and guardrails.
  • Investigate prod incidents and ship fixes.

Must-haves:

4 8 years total; 2+ years building LLM/RAG or search/retrieval systems.

Strong Python; FastAPI/Flask; SQL; Redis/Snowflake/Postgres.

Practical RAG experience.

Hands-on with ServiceNow API, Splunk SDK/SPL, or SharePoint/Graph API.

Nice-to-haves:

LangChain/LangGraph, pgvector/Redis, hybrid search, Kafka/Celery/RQ, Ray; networking/telecom familiarity.

Ways of Working (team-level)

Environments: dev ? staging ? prod with approvals and change tickets.

On-call: light rotation, documented runbooks, paging policies.

Quality gates: tests, offline evals, canaries, rollback plans, kill-switches.

Docs: ops handbook, source connector playbooks, incident post-mortems, onboarding guides.
