The Digital Core Tech team is actively looking for an AI Solutions Delivery Engineer to lead technology teams building solutions that improve performance and reliability of processes and systems in pharma. What You'll Be Doing

As an Artificial Intelligence Solutions Delivery Engineer, you will:

Lead Technical Products and Delivery: Lead multiple technical product teams across multiple disciplines such as software development, machine learning, data science, data engineering, cloud architecture, etc. to deliver end-to-end solutions that produce business value.

Design AI Solutions: Architect and design AI systems that are scalable, efficient, and impactful. You'll work at the intersection of technology and product development, turning innovative ideas into real-world applications.

Engineering Excellence: Develop high-quality, robust AI software that meets the needs of our users and stakeholders. Your role will involve coding, testing, and deploying AI models and systems that solve complex challenges.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to ensure the seamless integration of AI technologies into our products and services, creating solutions that are both innovative and user-centric.

Strategic Innovation: Lead the exploration and adoption of the latest AI technologies and methodologies. You'll stay ahead of industry trends and contribute to the strategic direction of our AI initiatives.

Product Lifecycle Management: Take ownership of the product lifecycle from conception through to deployment and beyond. You'll ensure that our AI solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.

Technical Expertise in AI: Utilize your deep understanding of AI, machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI to design and build innovative solutions.

Solution Architecture: Demonstrate excellence in architecting AI solutions that address complex problems, with a focus on scalability, performance, and user experience.

Agile Development: Excel in a fast-paced, agile development environment, applying lean principles to streamline the delivery of AI capabilities.

Collaboration and Communication: Foster a collaborative environment and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, bridging the gap between technical and non-technical audiences.

Innovation and Continuous Learning: Keep abreast of the latest advancements in AI and software engineering, continually pushing the boundaries of what is possible.

What You Should Bring

Proven Experience: A track record of success in architecting and developing AI-driven solutions, with hands-on experience in machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and generative AI technologies.

Technical Proficiency: Strong coding skills in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++) and experience with AI and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Strategic Thinking: The ability to think strategically about the integration of AI into products and services, considering both current capabilities and future possibilities.

Leadership and Collaboration: Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team, driving projects to successful completion.

Curiosity and Innovation: A passion for technology and innovation, with a relentless drive to explore new ideas and continuously improve.

Your Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of technology leadership experience with expertise in industry standard methodologies.
  • 2+ years of experience in working with AI technologies and tools, such as natural language processing (NLP), AI generation, machine learning algorithms, deep learning, etc.

Additional Preferences:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or other languages such as Java, R, C++, and JavaScript. Knowledge of related libraries and frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Scikit-learn.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum), version control systems (Git), containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Knowledge of NLP techniques and tools focusing on text analysis and understanding such as sentiment analysis, text classification, entity recognition, and the use of libraries like NLTK, SpaCy, or Gensim
  • Understanding of machine learning algorithms (supervised and unsupervised learning, neural networks, decision trees, logistic regression, etc.) and deep learning frameworks (such as TensorFlow, PyTorch)
  • Deep understanding of and experience with advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques, particularly those related to generative models like GANs, autoencoders, and transformers. Knowledge of how to design, train, and optimize these models.
