About the Role
TEKsystems is supporting a client in expanding their AV Programming team and seeking an AV Programmer / AV Software Developer to design and develop software-based solutions that support both internal productivity and client-facing AV systems. This role is ideal for someone passionate about AV technology, with hands-on experience in Crestron, Extron, and QSC programming.
You'll collaborate with clients, managers, and systems engineers to build custom tools, develop control system modules, and support AV Programmers with advanced development efforts across a variety of AV platforms.

- Design, code, test, and implement new software solutions; maintain and enhance existing systems
- Develop and support AV control systems including Crestron, Extron, and QSC
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and technical requirements
- Modify software to resolve issues, improve performance, or adapt to new hardware/interfaces
- Lead system testing and validation efforts
- Create technical documentation and train team members
- Analyze system requirements and recommend upgrades or new installations
- Provide technical support and maintenance
- Research, prototype, and design new software systems and tools
- Partner with AV Programmers to enhance productivity through development

Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Developer or Software Engineer

- Proficiency in both functional and object-oriented programming paradigms
- Comfortable working with and integrating hardware/software APIs
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, quick learner, and able to manage time independently
