Job Details

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and operate AWS Infrastructure for a tier-one US-based telco supporting the

network software solution.
Participate in on-call rotation, upgrade, and maintain EKS, S3, EFS, MSK, VPCs, Subnets, WAFs, and Route53.
Use standardized CI/CD pipelines based in GitLab and Terraform to ensure uptime, performance, and scalability of the infrastructure supporting the application.
Collaborate with US-based client SMEs, leaders, incident managers, and AWS support personnel during US timezone periods, and respond to critical impacts during on-call rotation hours.
Partner with a consultant with the same roles and responsibilities in the Mexico and India regions.
Leading other Gen AI Consultants/Engineers
Defining and reviewing work from other DevOps Engineers
Providing technical leadership to other DevOps Engineers

Lead-Level:
5+ years of experience with GitLab (code repo, configure pipelines, env properties, using GitLab runners, merge requests).
5+ years of experience with Terraform (troubleshooting, property configuration, state file management, module and resource authoring).
5+ years of experience with AWS cloud (EKS, S3, EFS, MSK, VPCs, Subnets, Security Groups, WAFs, auto-scaling, and Route53).
5+ years of AWS infrastructure support (monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting).
Proven excellence in communication, root cause analysis authoring, and consulting skillsets in English.
Proven experience in analyzing and troubleshooting production workloads in AWS infrastructure.
Ability to work US-timezone overlapping hours.
Ability to work on-call rotation for critical issue escalations.
Ability to interact and work with senior technical resources at the client and AWS support.

Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of Harness configuration for application deployment to EKS (only deploy containers to EKS).
Experience in application support for production workloads.
Experience with Kafka configuration, support, and troubleshooting.
Experience with AWS Direct Connect support and troubleshooting.
