Location: Juno Beach, FL
Duration: Contract to Hire
Rate Range: $75-$95/hr
Position Overview:
Looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with AWS knowledge to help with the vulnerability and configurations they are implementing this year - 4-6 large security initiatives. Looking for someone specifically on the cloud security engineering side.

Position: AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Position Overview:
Looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer with AWS knowledge to help with the vulnerability and configurations they are implementing this year - 4-6 large security initiatives. Looking for someone specifically on the cloud security engineering side.
Day to Day Responsibilities/typical day look like:
- This person will monitor AWS environment for vulnerabilities.
- Working with the tech team running with the projects and efforts to solve issues of what the tool finds.
- Determine issues within the firewall environments - firewall policies, virtual Palo Alto environment. Need to know what firewalls do and how it works, not hands on. Any building will be from any future projects that come along.
- AWS - security group and a NACL, GitHub Security maintaining advanced security features -
- Salesforce security - understanding of best practices on what's needed.
- This candidate will have some experience with API security.
- Administers, operates and monitors the company's information security sensors, logging, alerting and other detection mechanisms to identify and respond to threats
- Acts as subject matter expert for one or multiple assigned cybersecurity technology stacks (e.g., identity and access management, network intrusion detection and prevention, host based security tools)
- Manage and maintain the Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP)/Cloud security posture management (CSPM) Platforms
- Collaborates with cyber security team to identify, evaluate and recommend new security technologies for suitability within the company's environment and security posture
- Provides guidance for security activities and requirements in the system development life cycle (SDLC) and application development efforts.
