AWS Data Developer, Python, AWS, RDS
WHAT YOU WILL BRING (Must Have)
- 3-6 years developing solutions across multiple architecture domains (application, data, integration, infrastructure and security) involving multiple of the following technologies and architecture styles: Data Warehourse, Datalake, APIs, integration/middleware, mobile, web technologies, and service-oriented architecture.
- 4+ years of Programing experience and fluent in Python.
- 4+ years of solid experience in AWS technologies such as Redshift, Dynamo DB, EMR, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, RDS, IAM, , Kubernetes.
- 4+ years of experience in developing SQL, DBMS experience on any recognized database (Redshift, DynamoDB, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres).
- Working knowledge of Cloud Formation, CloudWatch, and Kinesis.
- Knowledgeable about DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- Proficient with source control repository such as GitHub, GitLab.
- Strong Agile software development experience, familiar with Scrum and Kanban, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint.
- Exceptional communication skills in incident responses with both internal and external stakeholders.
WHAT WILL SET YOU APART:
- 2+ year Experience with AWS technologies such as QuickSight and Kinesis.
- 2 years IT in financial or other highly regulated industry.
- Hands on experience running production workloads on AWS cloud services.
- Experience with incident management in a critical customer facing environment.
- Working knowledge of APM and/or system monitoring suites such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and/or CloudWatch.
- Comfortable with Linux, UNIX, and Windows based OS
- Understand how to build secure, performant, reliable and durable systems/architecture.
- Security minded with an interest in protecting systems and infrastructure.
- Occasional overtime and weekend work is required.
