Job Title: Ab Initio Administrator
Job Type: W2
Location: Remote 
Experience: 4–8+ Years

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Ab Initio Administrator to manage and support enterprise Ab Initio platforms across development, test, and production environments. The role focuses on platform stability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Ab Initio components

  • Administer EME repositories, projects, users, roles, and access

  • Monitor batch jobs, system performance, and resource utilization

  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

  • Support releases, deployments, and change management

  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and audit documentation

  • Work with ETL teams, infrastructure, and Ab Initio vendor support

Required Skills

  • 8+ years of Ab Initio Administration

  • Strong UNIX/Linux system knowledge

  • Experience with Control-M or similar schedulers

  • Database experience: Oracle, Teradata, DB2, Snowflake

  • Familiarity with SOX, data governance, and enterprise controls

Nice to Have

  • Cloud exposure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

  • CI/CD or automation experience for ETL platforms
