Location: Reston, VA (2-3 Days/Month Onsite)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Ab Initio Administrator to manage and support Ab Initio infrastructure, with a strong focus on cloud migration and AWS containerization. This is an administration role (not developer), requiring hands-on expertise in installation, configuration, and management of Ab Initio environments. The ideal candidate will have experience working in Linux, migrating to AWS (EKS), and supporting enterprise data integration platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and administer Ab Initio environments (on-prem & AWS).
• Manage migrations of Ab Initio infrastructure to AWS Cloud (EKS, S3, RDS).
• Support Ab Initio components: GDE, Metadata Hub (MDH), and Operational Console.
• Troubleshoot system/environment issues and provide production support.
• Automate processes using UNIX/Linux scripting and DevOps (Jenkins preferred).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile environment.

Required Skills:

• 6-8 years of Ab Initio administration experience (minimum 5 years hands-on).
• 2+ years working with Ab Initio in AWS (EKS, Linux containers).
• Strong knowledge of UNIX/Linux and SQL.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS S3, RDS, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB, DB2).
• Background in ETL/data integration and migration projects.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• AWS certification.
• Experience with LDAP, EIAM, and DevOps/IAAS.
