Title: Active Directory Engineer

Location: Frisco, TX
Duration: 12+ months

Hybrid position.

Job Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure and AWS platforms, adhering to industry best practices and security standards.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging cloud services.
Configure and manage Active Directory services, including domain controllers, group policies, DNS (Domain Name System).
Implement and manage PKI infrastructure to ensure secure communication and authentication across the network.
Ensure accurate time synchronization across network devices by configuring and managing NTP servers.
Monitor cloud and on-premises infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to enhance efficiency and reliability.
Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and procedures related to cloud and Active Directory environments.
Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams on cloud, Active Directory, and associated technologies.
Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in cloud computing, identity management, and network security.

The Active Directory (AD) Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and support of Active Directory services across the enterprise. This role includes maintaining domain controllers, managing Group Policy Objects (GPOs), DNS, DHCP, and ensuring AD security and compliance. The engineer works closely with security and infrastructure teams to support identity and access management (IAM). They also perform troubleshooting, patching, and upgrades of AD components. Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) and experience with hybrid environments (on-prem and Azure AD) are essential.
