Job Title: Adenza Axiom XL Developer

location: Troy, MI or Remote is OK, but onsite is the preference (we will prioritize candidates who can be onsite vs remote)

Role Overview:

As an Adenza Axiom XL Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining solutions using the AxiomSL ControllerView platform. This includes regulatory reporting modules for financial institutions

Mandatory skills: Axiom ControllerView component development and maintenance

Key Responsibilities:

• Development & Configuration:

• Build and configure Axiom ControllerView components: Data Sources, Data Models, Shorthands, Portfolios, Aggregations, Freeform and Tabular Reports.
• Customize dashboards, workflows, and reports to meet business needs.
• Optimize and review existing code and configurations.

• System Integration:

• Integrate Axiom with upstream systems using APIs (REST/SOAP).
• Ensure smooth data flow and synchronization.

• Testing & QA:

• Create and execute unit tests and functional test plans.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in development and production environments.

• Support & Maintenance:

• Provide technical support for Axiom-related issues.
• Monitor production processes and ensure timely reporting.

• Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Document technical specifications, release notes, and change logs.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience:

• 5 10 years in software development.
• 3+ years hands-on with Axiom ControllerView (v9/v10, RegCloud).
• Experience with US regulatory reports.

• Technical Skills:

• Strong SQL/PLSQL and Oracle database skills.
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Python, Databricks (desirable).
• Unix shell scripting and ETL development.
• Knowledge of financial products and risk management.

• Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
