Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Architect to lead the design, integration, and implementation of AJO within a complex enterprise ecosystem. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in Adobe Experience Platform (AEP), omnichannel orchestration, and real-time customer journey design. This role is central to enabling personalized, data-driven experiences and aligning architecture with business goals and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and validate end-to-end AJO architecture, encompassing data ingestion, identity resolution, segmentation, and omnichannel journey execution.
- Integrate AJO with Adobe Experience Platform, CRM systems, marketing automation platforms, and external APIs/data sources to ensure scalability and real-time performance.
- Establish and enforce governance and compliance standards, including data privacy, consent management, and audit trails.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and engineering teams to translate journey requirements into robust technical workflows.
- Provide technical oversight throughout the implementation lifecycle, addressing dependencies and aligning with architectural best practices.
- Monitor and continuously optimize journey performance, ensuring system availability, personalization accuracy, and efficient resource usage.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on expertise in Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) and Adobe Experience Platform (AEP).
- In-depth knowledge of customer data platforms (CDPs), real-time data processing, and identity resolution techniques.
- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise integrations, including APIs, CRM tools, and cloud-based data platforms.
- Strong understanding of data governance, compliance regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and consent frameworks in digital ecosystems.
- Ability to architect scalable, fault-tolerant systems supporting dynamic personalization and advanced decisioning logic.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.
