Job Description

Manage new manufacturing program launches. Manage and optimize complex manufacturing operations, design new process solutions, and ensure products meet high safety and quality standards with a focus on Industry 4.0 technologies like automation and error-proofing. Knowledge in Product Development Process/APQP.

Participate and lead prototype build activities to ensure compliance with design intent Provide creative solutions to unstructured product and system manufacturing challenges from the factory. Create initial process documentation (Process Flow, PFMEA, Lay-outs). Investigate, analyze, and recommend alternate equipment and manufacturing methods.

Resolve manufacturing problems using statistical tools and continuous improvement methods. Develop and summarize capital appropriation data and narratives for projects. Generate machine and production process capacity and capability studies.

Implement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a culture of zero accidents including prevention, investigation, equipment maintenance and application of rules. Identify, control and administer risk and danger in own area and manufacturing processes. Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited institution 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering and Process Development.

No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the El Paso, TX facility will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Experience with Engineering Change coordination and Implementation. Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS-Project). Experience with APQP / PPAP / PFMEA / DFMEA.

Strong communication, organizational and computer skills. Change agent with strategic focus and executive command. Skilled in conflict resolution.

Knowledgeable and experienced in Lean Enterprise methodologies, I4.0 methodologies, and advance manufacturing technologies. Skilled in advanced / complex root cause problem solving. Good communication skills at shop floor, technical and leadership levels
