Advanced Mechatronics Technician - The Diemasters - Elk Grove Village

• Build, install, and test mechanical and electrical systems for automated industrial processes
• Use diagnostic and measuring tools to ensure proper system functionality
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Maintain and repair facility and machinery as needed
• Train and develop skills to achieve DOL Journeyman status

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using power tools and working on engines, robotics, or repairs
• Background in maintenance (beyond custodial) and familiarity with manufacturing concepts
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Attention to detail with solid math and reading abilities
• Hands-on assessment required prior to hiring

• This role is part of our Manufacturing Apprenticeship Accelerator program in partnership with Cook County. Along with on the job training, candidates will be eligible for 100% paid schooling after 60 days of employment
• The Diemasters provides an assigned mentor and shadowing opportunities in the first few weeks
